Volquartsen trigger
Installed a Volquartsen accurizing kit in my Ruger MK II Competition today.
Holy smokes, it is a huge improvement over the stock trigger action. It is supposed to be a 2- 2 1/2# trigger, and it sure feels like it.
Nice and crisp. Well worth the money in my opinion.
It was a pain in the butt to install, but seems great. I will shoot it next week for practice.

They are good triggers a great improvement over the stock trigger. The first one O put in my Mark III and it took me a whole day to get it right. VQ's video wasn't clear on one step like they left it out and I ended up installing re assembling and tearing the gun down a least a dozen times. I then found a very good video on Youtube and got it right the first time with it. Problem then was the trigger pull was 1lb 4oz which I liked but would never do for BE. Called VQ and Mark said to put the original trigger spring back in and that took care of it. The install in my 22/45 Lite went well the first time. I am waiting for VQ to come out with a trigger for the Victory. Mark said they would have it ready last fall. Still waiting. Don

Sorry, I meant it to be in equipment, my mistake.Chris Miceli wrote:Fundamentals ?
The same fat fingers that made the trigger installation difficult, contributed to my error.
