22 EIC Match Empty 22 EIC Match

In the match we're supposed to start with the arm at 45 degrees and raise once time starts (target turns). At what time can I go from resting my arm on the bench to raised at 45 degrees? How long are we hold that for? What are the commands for that match?

At the final command of 'all ready on the firing line' you have to be off the bench at 45 degrees or less. Unfortunately most benches do not allow 45 degrees because they are too high. Int. pistol used to use small individual shooting benches/tables and getting 45 was no issue.

You are allowed to have the gun up during the initial commands if you want to set an aim point. The gun then has to be in the down position by "all ready on the firing line". You can start to bring it up as soon as the target starts to turn.

To your question about what are the commands, they are the same. It is only how you position the gun during the commands that has the additional rule vs regular or service pistol matches.
