Red Dots, How to adjust MOA
Many might not understand just how Minute of Angle in our red dots and scopes work and how to adjust them for shooting bullseye. Here is a very informative video on the subject, the first have deals with long range 100 yards and up and explains how to measure and what a MOA is. If you just want to skip to the mid point (9.30 on the time line) he describes the amounts for 25 and 50 yards which is where we shoot. I found this to be very helpful since his calculations directly relate to our red dots which are 1 click = 1 MOA @ 100 yards. So to break it down, thats 1/2'' @ 50 or 2 clicks to move the dot 1'' and 1/4'' @ 25 or 4 clicks to move the dot 1"

Re: Red Dots, How to adjust MOA
Its hard to figure that close but ive found no difference in 50 ft and 75 (25 yards) in my 22. but in a perfect world if 4 = 1'' at 25 yds, and 50 feet being 2/3s of that it should be more like 7 if if my math is correct, 8 would be 37.5 feet, but it really doesn't work that way close up.

To be sure, sandbag a group and then move the sight 20 or so clicks one way. See how far the group moves. Do some math.
