Nelson question

I know the Nelson conversion with adjustable sights has a steel top end to give it some weight, but I want the one that is Weaver-only. Is that steel also? I don't care for the threaded barrel and screw-on weight arrangement. I have a call into their voice mail but I know they're pretty busy with Camp Perry.

My weaver only Nelson rail is steel, they all are steel unless something has changed.  If you look on the website it doesn't say but if you read the comments/reviews it does.

Marvel has aluminum rails.  You can modify them to work on the Nelson
