New (for me) target .22
Now I've gotten sucked in.
My LGS has had this languishing for many moons. A back country LGS, not much good for coyote and possum when there Rugers available.
Anyway, walked in with a couple of trade ins I had nothing in (winning type guns) and walked out with this old timer.
looks like 1966/october vintage.
waiting on LH grips now.
hoping for suggestions.
This sport is getting worse than Trapshooting.
well, not really...

I have a set of ambi Pachmyers that should work for you. Not as neat as wood but kinda hard to find.

Len's HS was originally a 7.25 fluted barrel. But I made it into a pretend Victor. I used to shoot the long barrel in the 70s. That long sight radius works great.
The comp will for sure degrade 50 yard accuracy. I do not recommend using it

First handgun I bought back in about 1976 was a High Standard Victor. Still got it and those old High Standard's are tack drivers.

Was that sitting in Johnsons down in Adrian? Dangit, have been meaning to stop in there lately and looks like you beat me to it.

Wow, did you score! Not only did you get a very nice Citation, you got the muzzle brake, barrel weight and two red base magazines. After I outgrew my Ruger MK I, a buddy who had an FFL got me one of these Citations with the 7 1/4" fluted barrel. IIRC, I paid $98.00! It was super accurate, but I eventually got a 5 1/2" barrel for it and that made sustained fire easier.

Well, I removed the muzzle brake, looks much better that way. couldn't wait for the LH grips so I went to the range and shot some RH. I haven't felt a trigger this good since my smallbore rifle days.

Beautiful score! My M107 has my favorite trigger of any .22 I own. 2 redbase magazines...that's hoarding.

Only two is not hoarding. The post above made me check E-bay today when I got home from a match. Turns out this beauty was waiting for me to bid 78.00 on. Five now might be hoarding....Might.

Len, you are not hoarding until you have to take your shoes off to count them.
I am barefoot.
But I do have six 106-107, and six 102-104
