The reason I prefer the Lyman is because the Redding had excessive brass shavings as seen in time mark 9:55 - 11:09 in the video listed above. 

If you are willing to polish the expansion part of the Redding, you can reduce the amount of brass that is shaved off, but you run the risk of the expander no longer being evenly concentric around its axis.
