Re: Help finding .22 lr
Once supply catches up with demand the big box discount stores will drive prices down to the same percentage above cost as they sold it for before, only catch will be if the manufactures or distribitors rase their base price, if so prices will mirror that increase. I personally think we will more than likely see a 10-15% higher price to us. If i was looking to buy any 22 now i would only buy enough to get by, federal was said to be building a million rounds a day, if the others are close to that 22 will come back sooner than the other stuff, all of this is just IMO as a FFL for 24 years.

Dewey,
This is the thread where we should be posting info about where to find ammo. The gouging thread is about places where NOT to buy ammo.
Here's that link for the gunbot page again: http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/22lr Looks pretty pricey out there.

The information I have seen on rf production is:
CCI Lewiston 4 million/day
Fed Miss 2 million/day
I haven't heard about the others but there must be a lot of rf mfg'd!
AND it should not be affected by CF production/sales as far as capacity as they are not made on the same line.

Rob,
I posted that link because all the places with ammo are charging more than the pre-panic prices. I figured that made it perfect for the "gouger" thread.
Actually, the gouger thread lists the only places that actually have ammo. It's tough to purchase anything from places with no inventory.
Hopefully, two things will happen. First, I hope someone finds a link to available CCI-SV and posts it here. Second, I hope that the ammo shortage causes people to dryfire more. That way, when ammo comes back in stock, we'll have better shooters shooting it.
