New to me Benelli mp95e Empty New to me Benelli mp95e

Post by Dtdk Fri Jan 17, 2020 12:30 pm

Just received a mp95e that I bought online.  It is in great shape.  However it showed up missing the extractor, spring, and plunger.  The buffer was in crumbs inside the action, but I was able to make one out of a key fob.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can get the other missing parts?

Jim Henderson will have those parts. Whether or not he’s open for business yet is the question.

Here's what I did. Email Jim Henderson at hendo.cardinalcenter(at)yahoo.com and give him a list of what you need, Benelli part numbers will help greatly. Give him time, he will reply with availability and price. You mail him a check, he ships the parts. Takes a while, but he will get it done. Once the web site is operational, it will become more streamlined.

Hope you like that Benelli, I sure enjoy mine. Once you learn all the little quirks, and learn to keep the chamber clean, it will serve you well.

Jim only has the plunger now, he is out of springs and extractors.  I have tried ordering them from glockworx in Denmark.   I received a confirmation email, now it's just a waiting game for the parts.

Get a few extra firing pins too. Not a matter if...  but when you have one break with the Benelli !

Hopefully he can get some made by whoever made them for Larry.

+1 on the firing pin. Benelli’s biggest weakness. Like he said, not if but when!

Because of no lock back it’s easy to fire on an empty chamber and eventually it breaks the tip

They’ll break anyway. Weak design. I’m on my fourth one. Good to have spares.

I made a firing pin for a club member out of A10 tool steel years ago and it has yet to break.
Any tool makers out there - here's an opportunity for a product.

I've broken at least one per yr sometimes more since 1999, they always seem to break during a match.

They are just a fragile design, Have had more heads break than tips.

Whenever I ordered anything from Larry it included a few extra firing pins. I've even had one of his break.

A few broken ones not every one I've had break.

Greetings,

Is this MP95E a 22lr or 32 WadCutter?

I have a drawing of the 32 WadCutter firing pin.

Cheers,

Dave

It is a 22.  Unfortunately I did not order a firing pin.  Hopefully the redesigned pins Larry had will be back soon.

I’ve never had a broken pin in the 32. Several with the 22 though.
