Benelli MP95e
Hello group. I have a MP95e. I have had this fine target Pistol since 95. Recently got it out of the safe and went out and shot it. Found out real quick about the buffer crumbling. Made my own from a key fob. Went to the range and shot it. Worked great but the slide doesn’t stay open after last shot. I cannot remember if it did New. What are all you shooters experience with this? Thanks Tom

The slide does not stay open on a Benelli after the last shot. Count your shots so as not to drop the hammer on an empty chamber.

Tony thank you for the reply. That’s what I been doing we all know what happens on a Rimfire dry fire. Plus with parts extinct almost we cannot afford broken firing pins. Happy New Year!

I have the same gun. It will not lock open on the last shot. I developed a habit of loading a dummy round into the mag first, then load up with live ammo on top. That will prevent damage to the firing pin and chamber should you loose count of your rounds, which I do a lot.
