status of ed masaki

It been a few years since i've posted here. I'm still competing (w/myself) as the weather and back problems allow.

I'm wondering what is the status of Ed Masiaki?  Still with us or?

Was thinking the same thing. Was just packing for the Midwinter this morning & ran across my Masaki Tshirt from 2007ish, When he did the gunsmithing seminar at Perry. Amazing thing, it was an extra shirt I purchased that my wife has never washed & still managed to shrink it   

Don't know if our favorite Hawaiian gun plumber is still monitoring the list or not.  If so, give us a hey Ed. If not perhaps Dr Steve can give us an update.

Found an obit in a Honolulu paper for an Ed Masaki, I think it was 2013. There were other Masakis, so I don't know if this was him.

I find it hard to believe that there was only 1 response to my query. Ed was a big part of this forum far a long time and was a competitor at Camp Perry. He built many superb .45 target guns.

How soon we forget.
