This doesn't seem to be a standard S&W 52-2 Kit?

You are right, the original kit I believe contained everything but the frame. So there are many parts not included here, but the slide and barrel and bushing are all I would ever be wanting. The plastic follower magazine is not desirable to me either. I prefer the earlier ones.
