David Sams 92fs question
Hi all,
I was hoping for a little help. I recently acquired a Beretta 92fs built by David, my question is does the cone at the front of the barrel come off to remove from the slide or do you need to leave the barrel in the slide for cleaning?
Thanks for any advise you can share.

Re: David Sams 92fs question
They typically use red loctite on those threads. Leave it alone for cleaning. Break it loose if you need to remove the barrel or replace the locking block.

Re: David Sams 92fs question
It is not meant to be removed unless the gun is to be reworked for accuracy. It is precisely positioned for optimum lockup.
Re: David Sams 92fs question
Do not remove the barrel bushing unless something is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced that requires the removal of the bushing. Absolutely leave it in place. Clean the gun the best you can leaving the barrel in the slide.
