Shot 452AA for first time recently
Shot some ammunition that was given to me. 4.0gr 452AA with 180 Brazos in frame mounted pistol.
Shot nice and soft. Recoiled almost right back to center. I have not done much shooting in the last year and was pleasantly surprised with this load combination. Too bad this stuff is non-existent. Surprisingly I’ve never used/shot this powder before.
Enjoyed it!

Do you ever shoot WST? Seems like I heard it's kind of replacement of 452AA. I've run through 15# or so of it.

I’ve shot a little WST, mostly 38 spl. Planning on using it, Titegroup and 700x in near future on some fast twist barrels.

Bickar hoarded it all.
He might give you an ounce, or two.

One man's "stash" is another man's "adequate provisioning".

Ohh..... I remember picture of that "adequate provisioning". It could help ASYM staying in business for a while!john bickar wrote:One man's "stash" is another man's "adequate provisioning".

452AA was Doc Youngs go-to powder for his .45 loads, when he wasn't shooting factory Federal.

I can say that I have never purchased 452AA in my life.
