Mystery Grip.. Empty Mystery Grip..

This turned up in a box of 1911 related stuff. I can see why, but the two locator pins are odd... 
Does anyone recognize this grip and possibly a pistol to which it would mate?

my guess is that it's a modified Clark grip mount.
I THINK the pins were added to replace the screws that you added to lock the mount.


Not Clark scope base, but Clark style grip but rings 90 deg to clark

I think it is the original Aimpoint mount.
