First topic message reminder :
I've been shooting the model 41 for a while now and I'm ready to move to the next level. I'm considering the Walther Gsp and would like to get some opinions .

WITH THE WALTHER GSP OLDER MODEL COULD ONE PUT A DIFFERENT TYPE OF GRIP...LESS COMPLEX...OR IS ONE RESTRICTED TO USING THE CONVENTIONAL ONE? SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED...

Re: Walther Gsp
Greetings,
If you refer to the older models being attached with two screws on either side versus the newer models that attach with a single draw bolt through the bottom of the grip, yes.
My wife's old GSP has the two screws on either side. We purchased a Morini grip and the metal dog that attaches to the frame.
I also have a GSP-C with the two screws. With the aid of an attaching dog I was able to mount the newer style Walther grip that uses one bolt.
Be aware that the different grip makers use different mounting dogs.
The only problem I encountered was trying to mount a GSP Expert grip to my old GSP frame. For some reason it did not fit correctly.
Cheers,
Dave
