Just wanted to say hello. I just found this site. I mainly shoot service rifle right now, but am starting to get into service pistol a little. Looking forward to see what I can learn here.

John V we look forward to hearing how you progress and some of us may have questions about service rifle for you. That is something I am considering taking up as I am joining a club with a 1200 yard range and might as well have a good rifle if I have the place to use it!

Retired with more time, so will be doing more Bullseye shooting.

Bought a used S&W Model 41 (2007 vintage) and have an UltraDot MatchDot II on order.

Last november had single stack Gov. Model on STI frame and slide in 45acp built by Millenium Custom in Lake Worth Florida as a retirement present.

Looking forward to punching holes in paper with both and then bragging or complaining on results.

Haven't been on the List for a couple of years so I had to register again. Faisal, I remember the year when you were moving up the ranks and enjoyed reading all of your updates. Now you're the Moderator. Very nice!

I've had a couple of back surgeries and can't stand safely enough to shoot bullseye. Wasn't a very good shot to begin with.

I'm here in Spring Hill Tennessee new to the sight since about 2 weeks ago.

Hello all, new member here from Delhi, NY (by ways of Philadelphia, PA). Reletively new to bullseye shooting (about 2 years). I'm really enjoying it and I just recently upgraded to a Benelli MP90S and I'm shooting it extremely well. I look forward to gleaning info from this site.

Sorry Joe, I an stuck at 2650 not 2560! 2660 is my high score and the 2670 club seems about as far away as the moon!

Hello all, I registered to learn to shoot and learn about BE. Looks like a great place with a great bunch of folks.

I am a 1911 nut (shooter, not a collector) currently shooting action pistol. Unfortunately, no BE in my area, save one or two guys who used to compete and still go down to the range to shoot sometimes. I enjoy hanging around them and learning. I like action psitol, but I also love handgun accuracy, both accurate guns and the people who can shoot them accurately.

See that you are back in Texas. Hope to see you at some matches again. I'm going to miss the State match next month for the second year in a row. The only two times I've missed it in the last 12 years.

Welcome Jim. It is a great sport.

Any .22 will get you on the firing line. Experiencing a match will help you get started better than anything else. There you will find plenty of helpful suggestions on what you need, and how to go about getting it. From ammo, equipment, to skills.
