Shooting DEWC's and HBWC's out of a 357 magnum
Do folks seat these out a bit in an attempt to eliminate the unsupported bullet travel when using 38 Special cases or do you prefer to use magnum brass to accomplish the same thing? In my Trooper I would need to have 3-4 millimeters of bullet showing in order to enter the cylinder throat. Or does no one feel that flush seating in Special cases and shooting these out of a 357 magnum, has any impact on accuracy?
Thanks guys.

Some of my best revolver shooting has been in my Python with factory Federal 38 148 WC ammo. But I found it shoots just as well with 38 special velocities using 357 cases. Hercules published in the 1980s "Target Load" data for 357 brass as 3.5 Bullseye or 4.5 Unique which gave about 800 Fps. I tried those and they shot pretty well.
