92fs HB group shifting
I worked with my 92fs today. It has
some improvements, but it's not a Sams or MCP. With bulk WCC at 25
yards it can make 10 ring size TF groups unless I don't. However
getting a consistent grip is tough. The grip is stock except for grip
tape. Each time I pick it up the group can shift 3-6 inches. I am
getting decent TF groupings, but in different spots. I think I will go
back to the HB 45.

Hogue makes grip panels out of soft rubber. They seemed to help me. The good thing is if you don't like them, you won't have invested a whole lot of money. http://www.amazon.com/Hogue-Rubber-Beretta-Series-Panels/dp/B000KORBWG/ref=pd_sim_sg_2

A little late, but I had grip tape from Brownells put on the front and back of the frame. I also had grip tape ironed on with a welding iron to the grips so they don't rap around the grip and comply with CMP rules.
The gun doesn't move "around" like it did.
I might move back to the 45 as well. The trigger slack kills.

The M9 is tough to master. I love it at the long line and hope to survive it at the short. The 1911 is just the opposite.
