BE load for 185gr swaged hp
I just ordered a test order of 500 45 ACP-185-SWCHP-SWAGED LEAD-N0 814 from Magnus. I was wondering what the best BE powder load would be for using at both 25yd and 50yd distances?

I would start with 4 grains of Bullseye. There are others powders that will likely work as well but I have no experience with them in a .45 load. Keep us posted.

I've run anywhere from 3.9 - 4.2 gr. of bullseye with that exact bullet.

On softer swaged 185 bullets, 3.9-4.0 is the sweet load, ive ransomed these many times and from a kart barrel it shoots less than 2'' in most guns, oal, 1.215 crimp to .469,

I love the Zero 185 SWCHP and load 3.8 Clays for sustained fire 25 yards. Soft and accurate. I drop to 3.4 for indoor 50'

I use the same load. Clays or Clay Dot. Much cleaner than Bullseye.
