Dillon 550 tricks I did
Add an old die ring to help turn the powder thingy
Add a rubber band to keep the primer rod from drifting out
Pop-rivet the cam thing together and remove the spring to use the old long springs on the powder measure.

Re: Dillon 550 tricks I did
And I thought I was the only one using a rubber band. .
One thing I have done now is to use medium locktit on the little Allen screw that hold the floating bushing that the powder arm pivots on. That have a bad habit of unscrewing. If you miss it the arm will break the measure at that point. Of course dillon will replace it for free.....
I have also used a small 6x32 screw threaded into the primer slide to limit how far the rod can rotate to the left.
We also have done the powder spring thing. Really smoothes the press out in operation..
I think I own all of the aftermarket mods for my 550s

I wrap an elastic hair band around the primer feed stop spring. Keeps the plastic button from popping out and jamming the primer feed when the spring flips around.

my primer rod was drifting and I discovered the bracket the rod goes into was twisted a little bit. Once aligned it stopped drifting.
