Picture #2 is of my mouse guns. The old 41 is from around 1971 the newest is a 2008 model. The revolver is a model 17 no dash and I can't bring myself to put a scope on it. The High Standard is not standard. A model 106 trophy circa 1968 with a Victor barrel circa 1976 with a marvel rail.

Picture # 3 is of my center fire pistols. The Kimber is a Gold Match ll that I practice a lot with but don't shoot much in matches. The 952-2 is my go to gun for center fire.

Picture # 4 is of my 45s. The top one is a Gold Cup that I have owned for at least a millennium.Small exaggeration but have had for awhile. Roddy Toyota turned it back into a tack driver and it is my favorite for 45 matches. The Kimber is a Kimber Target Match. They made 1000 of them in 2005 or 2006 and I turned it into a hardball gun.I have hopes for success with it this year. The RO won me a 6 pointer in 2012 but now it is the backup pistol.

Picture #5 is of my DSR guns.Model 14-8 model 19 and a model 27. I must say that I haven't had much success with any of them. All three pistols shoot nice small groups with xtp's but don't like lead/or me shooting lead.

Picture #6 is of the Reeves gun of Reeves guns. Should only be shot when you want to intimidate shooters on both sides of you. Seriously it shoots great with 45 long colt reduced loads and big arms.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
I know. I made it into a pretend Victor for you. Roddy drilled the extra hole for the Bomar. Another local gunsmith fit the blanks in the sight holes and milled the slide down. I hand filed the slide for final fit under the Bomar. If that barrel is an E Hartford, it ramsomed very well. I think I still have the old bridge sight.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
I took the Bomar off so I could put the Marvel rail on it so I could have a dot.I still have the Bomar and the pachmyer grips that were on it. Great combo but my eyes they aint what they used to be. Do you remember when I first asked you about custom grips for a High Standard? I wondered if it was your old pistol when I was looking for grips.I know it is a small world, even smaller for bullseye shooters in Oregon. Roddy got the pistol back in his hands last month to change springs and adjust some magazines.I had changed it enough He didn't recognize it.Shoots really nice. Thanks for all your work.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
#7. I forgot to post this one earlier. This is a 92A1 I had Roddy make a tack driver out of. Roddy does a great job and the pistol shoots great. The only problem is I really don't like the feel of the Beretta compared to a 1911 so I went back to the 45. It is always nice to have an extra ball gun to bring to EIC matches. I change the grips for EIC matches of course.

#8 I am posting this one because I want to show everyone that there is an alternative to high price air pistols to practice your slowfire . Notice that I really don't like steel sights if I can figure out a better way.

Quote Len: "Roddy does a great job and the pistol shoots great."
That he does. Roddy made me three Les Baer builds. I got to Master and Distinguished with them. Now if I could just shoot more, I might make it back to Master level.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
This is my first competitive .22lr pistol. This is one of the funnest pistols I've ever shot. So far I've been practicing a lot, and I plan to joining the competitive pistol scene around September. I hope to get another bulls eye gun next year. Ideally I want a 1911, but I may look into a 9mm.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
Stumbled upon a deal on a SW Model 41... 7 3/8 barrel with the little cap over the compensator nipple, "A" prefix serial number, and the cocked indicator. All the good stuff. Barrel has been D&T and comes with a scope base which is a plus for me. Needed that cap for an unmollested compensated barrel sitting in the "set." Added pics for those who never saw the sight the Bomar made for them. Had to machine the end of the barrel extension and silver solder the sight on. Another barrel with the full length rib that Bomar made. Then one last barrel, the 7 3/8 with the original Cutts compensator.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
I've been holding off on posting anything here, but the discussion of using revolvers in Bullseye has prompted me to dive right in.
First up, the guns I started shooting 2700 matches with: S&W Model 617-4, S&W 686-5, and S&W 625-6:
And the revolvers as they were after I took a break from competing: the 625-6 now wears Nill grips; the same 617-4 now has a 4" barrel (after I actually shot out the original barrel) and N-frame round-butt Ahrends grips (with wood putty filler); the gun I finally settled on for Distinguished Revolver, a Model 14-5; the 686-5 was sold when I moved away from having a separate gun for centerfire:
The guns I currently shoot matches with: S&W Model 41, Hämmerli 280 in .32 S&W Long (for 25yd 1800 matches only), and Dave Salyer-tuned Springfield Armory 1911 Milspec:
The "classic revolver set" that I hope to shoot matches with some day (for fun): S&W Model 17 no-dash, S&W Model 14-4, S&W Model 25-2:
The "cowboy revolver set" comprised of a Ruger Single Six and a Ruger Blackhawk in .45Colt (and once had another Ruger Blackhawk in .357 Magnum for centerfire, but I sold that gun, right about the same time I sold the 686-5) that I also hope to shoot in a match or two for fun:

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
Here are my 3 bullseye revolvers. I will have to get a photo of my S&W M41 and my Roddy Toyota .45 ball gun and post them too.
The bottom one is a Model 25-2 with a 6.5" barrel.
The middle is a Model 14-3 with a 5.75" barrel.
The top is a K-22 with a 6" barrel. There is no model number on it.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
just got my first hardball gun, custom built on a Caspian frame/slide, Kart NM barrel, and about the prettiest bluing i've ever seen in person other than a vintage colt. the test target from the 'smith was 5 shots @ 50yards, measured out just over 1 3/4"
it's partner (ruger 22/45) will be here tuesday, and it'll be time to start chasing the pistol badge (went out with the rifle in 2012)

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
The first is my Hammerli 208 luckily found unfired this winter (it didn't stay that way long though!).
The second is my Marvel Conversion. Lower built by KC, I had Joe Chambers do a nice long roll for me. Test target is just over. 4".
Last is my wife's Clark custom Ruger MK2. Clark did a beautiful job on this gun. Shoots just over 1", 10 shot 50 yard groups.

New Shooter "eye candy"
This pistol is my first 1911 bullseye pistol. It was presented to me by Master Gunny Roland Smith. Joe Chambers did the custom work and it's ready to start learning the art of bullseye shooting. Hopefully I'll be able to find a mentor in the near future.

Springfield milspec I made into a hardball gun. I installed a Kart EZ fit barrel, put the sights on it and did the trigger job. Had a friend tighten the rails.
