Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
Okay, so, I give up with regards to posting pics
Yes, this is one of Jon's mounts. Actually, he did a complete job on my RO and I can't imagine a smoother firing pistol. I had the UD on it and am now trying the Aimpoint.

I just started shooting Bullseye, so don't have anything fancy. Here's my Ruger 22/45 with Volquartsen and Tandemkross parts, a CHEAP Red Dot and nice grips I got from Majestic Arms

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
I designed this based on my dad's 1964 FN Target (same as the Browning Challenger). Ahlman's did the drilling, tapping, millwork and DuraCoat. I have all the original parts so I can return it to the way my dad bought it in 1965. It was quite accurate on initial test, but I did a complete strip last night and cleaned out some 50 year old factory grease and oil. While it was open, I did a mild trigger polish and it is now much smoother.

This pistol was lightened considerably on the slide. I have a similiar pistol that is 3.5 oz heavier than Chris' pistol. The slide is full length with no radius cuts on front of slide. This pistol recoiled like hell until I removed the extra slide weight. This pistol functions reliably with 3.3 gr of BE and has snug fit barrel. Very soft shooting pistol.......hated to see it go

I have one of those XDm's. Looks like you put a powder river trigger in it. Are you getting the barrel welded up or anything?

factory barrel just hard fit. Another side note original barrel w/ serial # 1:16 twist. Hard fit Springfield barrel 1:10

Marvel Conversion
My Marvel, on a caspian lower. Shot this gun for a long time on a Rock Island frame but it had no checkering and the unit did not mate up squarely so I commissioned Jon to build up a caspian lower.
Here's the results, he even undercut the front sight for me! KC trigger, trigger shoe by Frank (Froneck).

My hardball guns:
Springfield Armory Custom Shop National Match Hardball (thats a mouthful). Really beautifully fitted gun. I have run quite a bit of hardball and 185 jacketed post rule change through this gun and the Armory-Kote finish barely wears at all.
Mountain Competition Beretta 92 Brigadier Hardball gun. Love or hate Dr. Nick, he built me an excellent Beretta. I absolutely drill the x's on the long line with this thing, but just can not master it for the short line. Too fat for me to get a consistent grip on. So it is more of a fun gun than anything at this point. Silicon carbide grip treatment works very well.

RRA and Les Baer
Thought I'd show off two new acquisitions, an early model (#2600 series) Rock River Arms 1911 in 45acp and a new Les Baer Premier II in 38 Super (soon to be 9mm) Still need to install roll trigger, flat trigger, and custom open format grips on the Baer. Got lucky with the Baer, a friend was getting frustrated with it and traded it to me for my Range Officer wad gun, and I just had to add $300 to the deal I had to add the optic, though. Ultradot mini
