Fun with High Standards
This is my first Bullseye Pistol. (After the borrowed HS from LtC Miller) Got this one in 1970. Shot about 7-8 cases green box through it 1970-1976. The homemade 6 oz weight is what I used on it. It's been retired mostly since 76.
My second BE pistol was a HS Olympic space gun.
More fun with High Standards

Yes they are - fitted for a friends' hand, though, they just happen to fit me perfectly so when I traded my RO for that Baer, they came with the deal, and I switched them to the RRA. Herrett's isn't good at following directions on their grips, they just use your hand outline. I had them make me a set, they were waaay to big, so I just gave them to my dad.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
My Browning custom Herrett's came in too small (which actually hurt) so I sent them back. When they came back they were still not right, so I ended up taking more material out and I have them dialed in now. I just gave them the last coat of tru-oil last night and they look unmolested now.

Better too small than too big - you can always take material off, but you can't put it back on!

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
If you are having trouble finding grips that fit Custom Precision does a great job. I need to post a picture of the Buckmark I picked up anyhow. I don't have normal size hands. I won't tell you how much work it was making these fit. Andrew did it all on his dime and final product looks/fits great. You don't have to get them this color. But you can if you want to. NFI.

Very cool rig! Welcome to the forum. Watch out, .22's are an addiction. I swear, I leave them alone in the safe, in the dark and the next day when I check there are more of them... that's what I tell the wife anyway.

Christmas gift from my wife
I put a Powder River drop in trigger kit in it. Had the barrel welded up by Bill Springfield in Colorado. Haven't been to the range with it since I got it back.

Yes, I do 99% of my own work, anything that doesn't require a full machine shop.LenV wrote:Nice. Did you do VQ trigger yourself?

Advantage Arms and Nelson.
Advantage Arms and Nelson.
The Nelson is on a Roddy made Les Baer. The RO has only a KC set added.
The Nelson has a Marvel Precision rib so the two will be the same weight because the frames are different weight. Looks like the LB has thicker metal.

The Ultra Dot Match Dot II Red Dot, 30mm, Black is 242.70 at Amazon, and it has many features.

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
My Ultradots, above on the Nelson and AA, are the now discontinued 1" 4-dot models. By far my favorite Ultradot. I much prefer the large dot, usually 8 MOA, and the small window of the 1" models. Also lighter weight, sit lower, etc...
Looks cooler too

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
There's a lot of cool looking stuff here so I'm very pleased to finally be able to show off my set. My 45 was recently completed and returned and it's a fantastic gun. An excellent gun to go along with my 22. Or maybe my 22 is an excellent gun to go along with my 45... which ever -
Nelson 22 on RO frame turned Mil Spec, and a Springfield Mil Spec turned into a wad gun by Jon. A very nice piece. My "Twins"!!!

Re: Show Me Your Bullseye Pistols
My new pistol.
FAS SP607, 22LR, 5 shot.
Used, but in excellent almost NIB condition.
Still waiting for the bureaucrats to transfer ownership to me so the store can ship it to me. Can't wait...
